I think that there is nothing like aerobics to build muscle, firm up and loose weight. Just ask my students who attend a step aerobics and muscle conditioning class that I teach twice a week at the local gym. My students may complain as I push them to build muscle throughout the class routines but afterwards I get nothing but "Thank You's."
I know when I used to workout alone before attending organized group fitness classes that I would back off from doing hard work. Once I started taking group fitness classes I noticed that the instructor would push everyone to work harder to build muscle than they would have had they not been in class. Personally, I liked that. That is what inspired me to pursue the craft of fitness instruction.
Today, I teach challenging group fitness classes. I help my students to build muscle in their abs, arms, legs and buttox. It is a rewarding career choice. Plus I get the benefit of working out while teaching and receiving a paycheck. My life truly couldn't get any better than that! |
