Drink Lots of Water when Build Muscle |

It is extremely important to keep the body hydrated while working out. I found this out the hard way one day when I literally passed out and my legs cramped up after a three hour work out session at the gym. I thought I was doing the right thing by drinking water with a protein powder. It was a good thing but I did not drink enough of it. I needed more hydration for all the work I was doing to build muscle.
After that episode I make sure to drink water after each routine dedicated to build muscle. So, after a set of barbell bicep lifts I drink water. When I complete a round of squats I consume more water. If I ride the elliptical machine I keep a full water bottle with me and take a hit from it every ten minutes or so. I keep my body hydrated so that I never really feel thirsty when I build muscle. I have learned that once I actually feel thirsty I am already becoming dehydrated. I make it a point to drink lots of water when I build muscle at the gym. |
