build muscle

It is easy for me to not go to the gym, not take that bike ride, not do the things I know I need to do for my physical and mental health. I am the proverbial procrastinator. When you look up the word in the dictionary my picture pops out of the page. I always say why do it today when tomorrow looks like a perfect time? Not a good thing, I know.

So in an effort to change my ways I have made a promise to myself. I even wrote it down in a journal and signed it! This promise states that I will make an asserted effort every day to build muscle, exercise and simply move my body. I can do this from the comfort of my home. I am not a gym person.

I have an exercise bike, a big and small ball, hand weights ranging from two pounds to twelve, ankle weights and an exercise plastic tube. I have everything I need to get started and build muscle. I even have the motivation as I have weighed myself and looked at my reflection in the mirror. Yikes. It is time to get busy!

I have worked out a guide to build muscle. My routine will change daily using different pieces of equipment to keep me interested. I have videos that show what to do to build muscle. I like to start with about a half hour on the exercise bike then use some sort of equipment. I can't wait to see results!
