I don’t believe that my husband’s opinion is accurate, at least not in my case. I take my vitamins and nutritional supplements in the evening after dinner. I have done this for years and I don’t think that it keeps me awake at night. My husband would beg to differ, though. He thinks the reason I go to bed late is that I take my nutritional supplements in the evening, but he is wrong about that too. I go to bed late because I have worked in the evenings for as long as I’ve been working. Once I am tired enough to go to sleep I don’t usually have any problems dropping off. Nutritional supplements in the evening may keep some people awake at night, but it doesn’t happen to me. I take them in the evening because in the morning I don’t usually feel like eating or swallowing anything more substantial than my coffee. I find my husband’s opinion about nutritional supplements slightly ironic. He drinks coffee in the evening sometimes and it doesn’t appear to keep him awake when he does.
