Getting Vitamins Minerals from Food |

I have found that there is no better way for the body to absorb the vitamins minerals needed to maintain good health than with food products. I do my best to keep a well stocked refrigerator and fruit bowl on the kitchen table for my family to nibble from when they want a snack. I find that when the food is readily available it is what myself and my kids go for when the munchies hit.
I always have a bowl of apples, pears, oranges or bananas within hands reach on the table in the kitchen. As the kids walk by they grab a healthy vitamins minerals pick me up. In addition I cut up celery, bell pepper, cauliflower, broccoli and carrots and put them into individual snack baggies. These are so convenient and are ready to eat. My family and I all love this method of snacking. All of us can say we truly feel better when we eat our vitamins minerals with these foods rather than grabbing chips and soda. I am so proud of the strides my family has made to become healthier. There were little bumps in the transition but we are going full speed now! |
