Coming Home to the Scent of Aromatherapy Oil |

About a month ago, I went to good old Arizona to visit my mom. While there, she was working so during the early afternoon hours I was really free to my own devices. We have had this cat since I was seven years old. He once was a big fat orange cat who lived up to his cartoon name but time has withered his swaying belly down to the runt size he was as a kitten. He is really my mom’s cat. Being that he is old, arthritic and only comes out to eat, I went looking for him in my mom’s room. Immediately after entering her room, I smelled something vanilla. Figuring it was just some deodorizer for the litter box in the bathroom I continued over towards our cat’s little bed. That’s when I noticed a bottle of aromatherapy oil on the bathroom vanity. Sure enough it was vanilla.
When my mom got home, I asked her if the bottle of aromatherapy oil was to kill the litter box scent. Smiling she said no it helps me relax after a long day at work. She swears by the stuff. Aromatherapy oil is the best stress reliever is what she tells me. I don’t know how manly it is but it works for her. I am all for doing whatever kills stress. Who needs it? Women seem to love aromatherapy oil.
