build muscle, vitamins mineralsI read a disturbing CNN news article called As nation gains, ‘overweight’ is relative, the title says it all. Americans on average are getting bigger, not in a build muscle way either. There are many different reasons I can think of for this country wide weight gain, times are tight so people are buying cheaper fattening food, being on the run promotes fast food and no one likes to hit the gym to build muscle. Whether or not these reasons are why are country is packing on the pounds may or may not be correct but it is happening. I have even experienced some weight gain in the past six months. For me, it is because of late night snacks, work in an office chair and a lack of a build muscle routine.

I finally said, something different has to be done when my stomach started to look pregnant. Making sure to eat at least some vitamins minerals every day, mixed with light exercise at home and not as many late night snacks seems to be working. It’s actually easier to build muscle when there is already fat in place. Breaking down that fat and turning it into muscle sometimes tricks the scale because muscle weighs more then fat.
